Brie Loskota is a researcher with the Center for the Study of Religion and Culture at the University of Notre Dame, renowned for her work in peacebuilding and community resilience. In 2014, she became a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, later joining its Religion Advisory Committee in 2019. She has been a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy since 2008 and served on Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti's interfaith advisory board from 2016 to 2018. Her fellowships include the Truman National Security Project, German Marshall Fund, World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and USC Safe Communities Institute.

Previously, Loskota led the Center for Religion and Civic Culture at USC and the Martin Marty Center for the Public Understanding of Religion at the University of Chicago. In 2021, she received NewGround's Trailblazer Award for interfaith bridge-building, followed by the GLOW Award from CityLight International Assembly in Chicago in June 2023. She also co-founded the Generation Change youth peacebuilding program at the United States Institute of Peace and continues to work with USIP and various NGOs to enhance public engagement and promote pluralism.
