How has being a Religion graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"Studying at Duke allowed me to get to know and learn from top scholars in my primary fields of New Testament and Jewish Studies. My classes were thought-provoking, the many intersections with the Divinity School were invigorating, and the relationships I formed with professors and fellow Duke graduate students proved important for getting my first teaching job and in scholarly activity since then."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Religion programs?

"Take several courses outside of your specific field!"
