How has being a Religion graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"Aside from becoming a rabid Blue Devil basketball fan in a family of TarHeels and Jayhawks (a tough job, but someone has to do it), Duke allowed me to develop my interests in ways that I have continued to build on in my later work. Professors have become lifelong friends. Classmates have become dear friends and colleagues."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Religion programs? 

"Take advantage of the opportunities the programs afford."
