How has being a Religion graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?
"Religion was the favorite of my 3 majors. My undergraduate majors have given me a unique perspective to my career as a physician and CEO. Additionally, my study of religion started me on a lifelong pathway of learning. I read and learn constantly and I travel the world exploring and discovering."
What advice would you give students in Duke's Religion programs?
"Understanding historical and current human belief systems will allow you to understand people and cultures in a truly unique way. When you’re taking a particular course, take a step back from the subject matter to relate what you’re learning about the big picture."
