How has being a Religion graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"It gave me a unique perspective through med school. I was the only Religion major in my class, and connected with several patients about that choice."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Religion programs? 

"Take the time to explore. Ready a Duke professor’s book that’s not on the syllabus. Audit a grad school class that’s way above your head. Enjoy this time to study things that interest you - it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
