Center for Jewish Studies
The Center for Jewish Studies is an inter-departmental program that sponsors a wide variety of cultural events, offers educational programs—including a Certificate Program in Jewish Studies for undergraduates—and fosters academic research and scholarly exchange of ideas.
The Center for Late Ancient Studies
The Center for Late Ancient Studies (CLAS) seeks to promote the interdisciplinary study of the culture of the Roman Empire, its neighbors and successors, from the 2nd to the 8th Century C.E. The Center, which has gained international recognition through its sponsorship of a distinguished annual lecture series, acts as an intellectual focus for the graduate students and faculty from different departments with shared historical commitment.
N.C. Consortium for South Asian Studies
The N.C. Consortium for South Asian Studies (NCCSAS) seeks to promote research and teaching in the languages and cultures of South Asia in the constituent universities of the Triangle South Asia Consortium and the region.

The Duke Islamic Studies Center is a vibrant, diverse community of scholars and students engaged in interdisciplinary teaching, interactive learning, and cutting-edge research about Islam and Muslims.
